We were very sorry to hear the sad news that Brendan Lawless from River Forest passed away on Sunday last, after an illness. Brendan was a schoolboy referee in the DDSL for longer than I care to remember. Brendan was an ex-soldier and a nice man who refereed many a game in Leixlip including for myself as a schoolboy player and manager. We extend our sincere sympathies to the Lawless family.
