A big thanks to everyone who participated in the St Patrick's Day Parade - we had a great turnout and a fantastic day was had by all involved.
Good luck to Andrew and the boys in green
Best of luck to Andrew Omobamidele who is back in the Ireland squad (after an injury) for the upcoming games against Latvia and France.

Match Reports
U12 Girls Div 3/4 cup. Leixlip 3 - 2 Larkview
Great experience for the girls playing on the new Astro this morning against Larkview.
Larkview went 1 nil up but the girls kept battling hard putting some lovely passes together and 2 goals from Saoirse Costelloe and a top corner penalty from Saoirse Brilly put the girls 3-1 up. Larkview got a goal back in the second half and some great defending and goalkeeping from Aine Byrne gave them victory in a well matched game.
U12s 2-1Good win for them this morning in the 1/2 Cup against our fellow Division 1 opponents. It finished 2-1
The team was captained today by Chloe Roche. We conceded a sloppy and unfortunate goal in the first 2 mins but their heads didn't drop and they took control. It took us till the second half to find the back of the net with 2 very similar goals both from Cara Murphy corners by Ciara Briody and Emily Keegan. Great performances from all the girls this morning and a good win to get them back on track after the disappointing result in Cork.
U11 Sat C (Tony Hackett Cup)
Leixlip United 11 Granada FC 0.
An excellent team performance and win in tough conditions on a wet Saturday morning. Slightly nervy start to the game but once Darragh Kineavy scored the first goal for Leixlip we never looked back. All the boys played really well and worked hard as a team to control the game from start to finish. The win puts us into the quarter finals and if the boys can repeat this performance level they'll be a match for any team left in the competition.
Scorers; Darragh Kineavy, Eoghan Fahy, Alan Maly and Sam Cribben
U14B Leixlip Utd 6 Portmarnock 0
What a powerful statement made by the boys today Vs 4th placed Portmarnock.
From the very first minute Leixlip meant business. Aidan Doyle winning a penalty, fouled after some neat footwork in the box. Despatched with zero fuss by MOTM Eoghan Lyons.
Not long after, Eoghan returned the favour crossing for Aiden to smash home.
Leixlip’s defence was in particularly mean form. Bar an outlier free kick hitting the crossbar, they snuffed out any real threat from the opposition and allowed our midfielders to really show their stuff. Paddy Corrigan skilfully found Eoghan for his 2nd before a great team move starting from Goalkeeper Kyle Sutton, snaked it’s way up the pitch for Ryan Good to tap home in spectacularly untypical fashion. 4-0 at the break.
Another lightning start to the 2nd half saw Eoghan complete his hatrick and Aiden get his 2nd ultimately killing the game off as a genuine contest. Credit to Portmarnock who had some good moments late on and never stopped running. They were simply outclassed by a team showing real hunger to win this league.
