A great result for the champions in the worst possible conditions. After a slow start we went ahead with a marvelous solo effort from Conor Kavanagh. We dominated the game generally but Alex Kearney made a magnificent save just before the half time whistle to keep us in front.

Early in the second half Alex Akinrintoyo finished superbly over his shoulder to put us two up. We continued to control the game and after going close on a few occasions Sam Kelly finished off an amazing run with great finish inside the keepers near post. All in all a really good all round performance resulted in a richly deserved victory.
