Leixlip United U11s won an end of season tournament in Maynooth last weekend. 16 teams took part in a 9 aside biltz which was very well organised by the team at MTFC. All the boys played a blinder and worked their socks off. Winning all 5 matches, scoring 10 goals and only conceding 1 to win the top division prize, the 'Kilcock Dental Cup'. It really was an excellent team performance with 7 different players getting on the scoresheet from the squad of 12 that took part. After a long season with many ups and downs along the way, it was great for the lads to finish on a high.
