Turn Your Club Support Into Funding
Your club can earn extra funding just by encouraging members and the local community to use Croí Laighean Credit Union.
We will reward each club as follows:
- €500 for every €250,000 borrowed
- €500 for every 50 new members
Even better... there is no limit to the additional funding available!

Anyone connected to your club:
- Members (past or present)
- Family and friends
- Coaches and mentors
How It Works
It’s simple, just encourage people to:
- Open an account
- Take out a loan or mortgage:
- Personal loans
- Business loans
- Agricultural loans
- Club loans
- Mortgages
- Personal loans
When they select your club, we’ll track it and reward your club accordingly.

Opening an Account (Age 16+)
Click on the button “Click here to join Croí Laighean Credit Union” and select your affiliated club.
1. Membership Eligibility
Membership is open to those who live or work locally, or members of a club we support.
Use the dropdown to select which best describes your situation:
- If you live or work in our common bond, use your personal or work Eircode
- If you reside and work outside the common bond, use the nearest branch Eircode or your club’s Eircode to proceed
2. Complete Your Application
Complete your personal details and follow the prompts to finish opening your account.
Opening Juvenile Accounts (Ages 7–15)
Juvenile accounts must be opened in-branch with a parent or guardian.
Once the account is set up, don’t forget to link it to your club to help them earn:
- Scan the QR Code below or navigate to www.clcu.ie/club-referral
- Complete the third option under “Joined in branch as a Juvenile Member”
- Fill in the form and nominate your club
This step allows us to track new juvenile accounts linked to your club.
Applying for a Loan or Mortgage
- Go to “Apply for a Loan or Mortgage”
- Choose your local club
- Choose your loan type
- Complete your application
Forgot to Select Your Club?
If you have taken a loan between the 1st of October 2025 and the 30th of April 2026, but you never selected your club, don’t worry — it can still be added.
