U14 Boys SFAI Trophy Leixlip United 4 Belvedere 1.
Into the last 32 of the trophy away to Cregmore Claregalway. Goal scorers:
Dan Lyon’s, Ben Osmic, Adam Rafferty and Max Kelleher.

U15 Boys Paddy Fenlon Cup St Francis 0 Leixlip United 1.
A really hard-fought win away in the Cup against a strong team. There weren’t a lot of chances in the first half, however we got the breakthrough with 5 minutes before half time after lovely play by Dara Neville and Brendan Carolan in the middle. Through ball into Ben Kineavy who was quickest to react after a mishap in their defence and finished into the bottom corner. St Francis came out strong in second half and where unlucky not to score 1 on 1 only for brilliant save by Dan O'Reilly in goals. Soon after a great clearance from Darragh Killen in defence from an indirect free kick on the 18-yard box. For the last 10 minutes we continued to work hard particularly in their half with a few half chances and saw out the game. Brilliant squad performance from all the lads. Great to get a break away from the league and onto the next round we go.

U13 Boys Major 1 cup. Ballyoulster 1 Leixlip United 1. Extra time after penalty’s Leixlip 5 Ballyoulster 3.
This was a keenly contested cup tie with our local rivals which went the distance. Conal Boland almost had us in front 2 minutes in, but his free kick was just the wrong side of the post. Leixlip got ahead when Alan Malys in swinging crossed sailed over everyone and in off the back post. Ballyoulster equalised a few minutes later when their striker got behind our defence and finished well into the top corner. We continued to create chances in the second half but couldn't find a second goal. Ballyoulster almost nicked late on with a snapshot that came back off the crossbar and the game went to penalties. Tadhg Mallon, Ollie Newport, Zach Pringle Tighe, Jacob Mehigan and Conal Boland scored their penalties, and Conor McGrath made the all important save to see us into the next round.

U16 Major 1 Girls Leixlip United 3 Liffeybank 1.
A brilliant performance from all 13 players today and it's always nice to get the bragging rights with a win in a local derby! Liffeybank started brightly and had us under early pressure, but we soon got to grips with their tactics and our defence and midfield gradually got the upper hand. A great break down the right from Daisy and a lovely ball into the box was matched by a great run by Vanessa in the middle and we were 1-0 up. We dominated the rest of the first half and deservedly went in 2-0 up after a great run and cool finish from Erin. We started strongly in the second half and were soon 3 up. Another great ball in from Daisy saw Erin get her second. We controlled the game from that point and were really solid across the back line and in midfield. Liffeybank got a late consolation, but the win was never in doubt. Special thanks to Eve for stepping up to play in goals, brilliant performance!

U16 Premier Boys Leixlip United 4 St Kevin's 1.
Easily the best performance of this season and probably the last few seasons as well. We started really brightly, and Prince got on the end of a nice move to score into the corner of the net. Kevin's got back into the game when their striker finished off a good move. Tom Harrington made a couple of outstanding saves to keep us level. Jesse Cabral with a sweet finish from a corner put us back in front before the halftime break. Second half was more of the same nip and tuck until Ryan Good finished off a cross from Jack Doran. Jack was then hauled down in the box and Fiacra Martin calmly sent the keeper the wrong way from the spot. A brilliant build up to our SFAI Cup game next week.

U17 Girls Shelly Cup Malahide 1 Leixlip United 4.
An early volley over the keeper from Sophie Dalton settled us into to the game and while we stayed on top Malahide got a rare chance that was struck hard in the corner and left our keeper no chance. The girls then put the game to bed early. In the move of the match, from the back Leah Briody found Grace Kelly who worked it to Cara Moriarty. Passing from midfield she connected with Sophie who put Faye Kelly in to score. Before the half Sophie found Faye again to put us 3-1 up. Leixlip stayed on top after the break and forced an OG. Lots of nice football across the squad with special mention to Marie Isabel Merenciuc Sadoveanu, Robyn McCaughey and Ailbhe Mooney for eye catching performances.

U13 Premier Girls Leixlip United 2 Beechwood 0.
Good result today. Despite the scoreline & the fact we probably could've got a few more, we never really got out of 2nd gear. Another goal for left winger and a 1st for the Club for one of the new girls. A couple of injuries picked up, so every player got plenty of time. It was the first game we have played all season where we had a full squad, and the opposition had only 9. Good result but as one of the girls said at the end, "It was a slow game. It never really got going". Goal scorers are Pippa and Eliana.

U14 Boys Hollywood Cup. Tallaght Town AFC 0 Leixlip United 2.
Goals from Aaron Becker and Conor Tighe.

U12.5 Girls Leixlip United White 3 Cabinteely 0.
On a wet and soggy pitch, the Leixlip United White Team put in a fantastic performance to secure a well-earned 3-0 victory over Cabinteely. From start to finish, the team worked together, showing incredible defensive discipline and determination. Both the starting players and substitutes played a crucial role, with Caria making some brilliant saves to keep Cabinteely from finding the net. Fifteen minutes into the first half, Amelya Quinn broke the deadlock with a stunning goal, giving the White Team a 1-0 lead going into halftime. In the second half, substitute Shayna Nolan made an immediate impact, showing skill and strength on the wing. Ten minutes in, she beat the defender and slotted home her first goal to double the lead. With about ten minutes left on the clock, Chloe McDonnell received a brilliant pass from Ruby Mai Kearns, weaved past two defenders, and fired a shot into the back of the net to seal the victory. It was a massive team effort that keeps the White Team second in the league table. A fantastic performance all around!

U16.4 Boys Wayside Celtic 1 Leixlip United 1.
Two evenly matched sides threw everything they had into this game. First half was stuffed with great individual battles right across the pitch. There were goal opportunities but both defences remained largely in charge. Second half Leixlip’s concerted effort to keep strong possession looked promising. But the breakthrough eventually came via Cian Gillgunn chasing down a Celtic back pass, panicking their keeper and finishing with aplomb. Celtic with the advantage of multiple subs to rotate upped their game. Leixlip fielding a couple of players just back from injury and a reduced game day squad were under serious pressure to keep pace as the game wore on. Eventually conceding through a well taken Celtic effort. Leixlip rallied and passions were running high as both teams pushed for the winner. Celtic went down to 10 players, but our boys just did not quite have enough left in the tank to capitalise in the remaining minutes. A draw arguably a fair outcome.
