U13 Major Boys Leixlip United 2 Kilnamanagh 1.
A bright start to the game resulted in a penalty for us inside the first minute after a handball. Ollie Newport stepped up and confidently tucked it away. Kilnamanagh hit back almost straight away with a sharp turn and finish from their striker. We regained the lead after 10 minutes when Hayden Wynne picked the ball up on the edge of the box and fired his shot into the top corner. The game settled down after that and there were very few chances for either side. Kilnamanagh had a great chance in the second half to equalise when the striker got on to a ball over the top and went round our keeper. He passed the ball towards the goal, but Zach Pringle Tighe was on hand to clear the ball off the line. We had to dig in for the last few minutes, but we held on for another well earned win.

U11 Boys Coyne Cup Parkvale 1 Leixlip United 7.
Boys got their 1st taste of 'competitive' football today in the cup. Pitch out there was immaculate to be fair which suited us, and we went on to control the majority of the game and progress to next round well done to all. Our goal scorers were: Harry Gibbs, Bowe Kelly, Ollie Dagg Moran, Tyler Browne x2, Jack Fahy and Oisin Fahy.

U13.1 Boys Leixlip United 2 Crumlin United 2.
Leixlip started really well against second place in the league and created lots of half chances in the first half without applying the finishing touch. Crumlin created plenty aswell in what was a very open game. Lads came out flying for the second half and got two deserved goals through Dylan Plunkett and on loan under 12 Luke Kakawaisy who was outstanding throughout. We seemed comfortable holding that led to a goal and got Crumlin back in and, in injury time, struck again to deny us all three points. It was disappointing not to win but great performance to take something into next week.

U14-7 Boys Leixlip 3 Kilnamanagh 1.
Great win in horrendous conditions against a team that were much stronger than us when we played them at the start of the season. 3 brilliantly worked goals from Thomas Reilly and a brace from Ryan O'Neill.

U13 Premier Girls Leixlip United 2 Lakelands 0.
Brilliant performance by the girls. With a squad of only 10, we knew it was going to be difficult especially playing against the wind and rain in the first half. Great defensive performance by Lakelands in the first half playing against the weather and their play it long tactics. But we still had our chances. The best of which could've been a contender for a Puskas. A ball crossed in over our strikers head, with a controlling touch and at full pace she volleyed it 1st time at the goal only to be saved. The first half ended 0-0. When conditions would be against them, Lakelands looked to call the game a draw at half time. It was wet and windy but not enough to call the game. We started the second half with a squad of only 9 through injury. As expected, we started strong and had 2 good chances within a minute. By the 5th minute we were 1 up after a great run and finish from our striker. Within 2 minutes Leixlip were 2 up after a fine finish from our left back that literally burst the net. The opposition conceded the game at this point. Despite our constant challenge with our limited squad size, we are still winning our matches and are 3rd in our league. Super performance.

U14.2 Boys Finglas United 1 Leixlip United 4.
The first away match of 2025 and our u14.2 boys made it back to back wins with an incredibly strong performance beating a Finglas side sitting two places above them in the league table. Leixlip went ahead on the 10 minute mark with Setempie latching on to a through ball from Conor Roche. The left winger drove past two defenders and blasted the ball into the Finglas net. Leixlip didn't take the foot off the gas and pushed for a second goal, Setempie again involved, driving past Finglas defenders and slotting a through ball to Tom Dolan to finish. Tom took a heavy challenge from the keeper but had the awareness to slip the ball to James Iredale to finish from close range 2-0. The home side rallied and started to put the Leixlip defence under pressure. Our boys took some heavy tackles but withstood the on slot and counter-attacked themselves. Josh Brooks delivered a long ball to the ever willing runner, Tom Dolan. Tom again, 1v1 with the keeper calmly rounding him to slot home for goal number 3, and that's how the half ended. Second half, the Leixlip lads had to dig in a little with the home team turning up the heat. The Leixlip defence had to withstand the home team attacks, and we were on the wrong end of some heavy tackles and some lenient refereeing decisions. The home team finally got one back in the 18-minute mark. A long-range effort that our keeper could do nothing about. Our boys didn't drop their heads. Instead, broke several times only on each occasion to be fouled. The last of these fouls resulted in a free kick being awarded.  From just outside the home team penalty box, Harry Walsh whipped a ball into the top Conor of the net. 4-1 to Leixlip, and that's how the game finished. So proud of these lads. Never gave up. Fought to the end. A credit to the club.
