Leixlip Credit Union - Croí Laighean is inviting our members to take part in the annual Christmas Jumper Dash on the 10th of December in Donadea Forest Park and raise funds for Leixlip United at the same time!!

Last year we had over 220 participants and everyone had a great time - this year we are hoping to get over 500!

We have 5k and 10k routes, so it’s suitable for all fitness levels. For those with a competitive streak, we have partnered with Pop Up Races, and we will be timing the event. We will have prizes for the fastest adult male and female in the 5K and 10k events, along with the fastest under 16. There will also be prizes for the best Christmas jumper ,most creative outfit along with a lovely hamper and other spot prizes on the day. The cost for entry is €20 for an adult and €10 for under 16’s. It’s a great event with free refreshments and cakes, plus lots of goodies. All we ask it that participants dust off their most outrageous Christmas Jumpers and join the fun!

The purpose of this event is to take the burden off local clubs/ schools/organisation by organising a fundraiser on their behalf. We look after the full event and all you need to do is to encourage your members to get people to participate and list your club/school/organisation during the application process.

We cover the entire cost of the event, and the club will get every cent of the entry fee, so if you get 20 adults to register, you’ll raise €400… get 50 to participate, and you will raise €1,000!
